Vincent. There is no way we could have stopped the guys from going.
Vincent wanted to be part of the "mix". He had completed his
testing and was waiting to get sworn in by the Washington National Guard when
this opportunity came up. He told me he was going to the "big
sandbox", period. To make money on top of what he loved doing was
icing on the cake. The United States is lucky to have such a dedicated and
talented group of former elite forces to draw from in time of war.
The Marine Corp provided
an honor guard for his memorial service. That would have been very
important to Vincent.
